In conjunction with CoachSG, SFDA has started running SG-Coach Level 1 Technical (Ultimate Frisbee) courses in the year 2024. Participants can look to learn the basics of coaching during the course and how to carry out sessions for Ultimate Frisbee training purposes.
To date, 2 courses have been completed with 1 last course run this year.
Intake 1: 27th & 28th April (Completed)
Intake 2: 13th & 14th July (Completed)
Intake 3: 7th & 8th December (Upcoming)
In supporting NICA members with skills deepening programmes such as the courses offer by Ultimate Players Association Singapore UPA(S), NICA members enjoy lower course fees through the Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) which provides 50% subsidy of the balance unfunded course fee, up to $250 per calendar year. Till 31 December 2025, NICA members aged 40 years and above will enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per calendar year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fee.
